The Eye Business

Don't you hate it when you are out and about maybe on public transportation or at the book store and you are looking around and you casually meet someones eyes ... Then you happen to look in that general direction again and they are looking right at you ... Then you start thinking like are they looking at me? so you go ahead and try to sneak a look back to make sure and again eyes meet as they catch you looking right at them but now they are creeped out and the look away all fast and you think like damn you were looking at me first ... twice!!! ... It happened just right now on Bart ... I feel like I just got eye raped ... Then to top it off they get off at my stop and totally act like nothing happened ... I feel so cheap ...

I rode the train today and I noticed how out of touch people are with other people ... Head phones iPods and smart phones ... An unreturned smile ... Averted eyes ... At least one guy was doing a crossword ...

Hunger Pains

Time seems to slow down and stop or

at least it seems that way ...
Cause when I am with you I am present in the here and now ...
I used to live in the past ...
where i munch on self pity like corn on the cob from

KFC with

my buttery lips and gravy stained teeth now

I'm 20 pounds over weight from that shit ...
When you leave ...
my thoughts are of what is yet to come and

I gorge on stress like a Costco shrimp platter

wolfing down tails and all with extra cocktail sauce ...
So many that I feel it the next day coming back up my throat as

vomit that I swallow back down ...
Come back and hang with

me cause my tummy don't feel so

good when you are gone ...
